(4) Le seul cas où l’on crée du capital immatériel par la transmission d’une propriété immobiliaire [immobilière], c’est lorsque l’on vend un immeuble à crédit; mais quand on emprunte par hypothèque sur un immeuble, le capital immatériel que l’on crée est né de la transmission d’une richesse mobiliaire [mobilière], représentée par le numéraire prêté.

(4) The only case where one creates some intangible capital by the transfer of a piece of the immovable property is when one sells a piece on credit. But, because one makes a loan by pledge of an immoveble, the intangible capital he creates has derived from the transfer of a piece of the movable wealth, represented by the loaned specie.
