De la richesse commerciale, Sismondi, 1803

The first book dealt with on this blog is De la richesse commerciale, vols. 1-2, written by Jean Charles Léonard de Sismondi, published in 1803 in London. The author is a historian and economist from Geneva (for his biograchical facts in detail see the entry of wikipedia). This work is one of the earliest in France that expounded and applied the economic doctrines of the Wealth of Nations (1776) by Adam Smith, but we have no English translation of it up to today.
